Nazarbayev gives start to Equestrian World Cup stage in Astana

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev has visited the capital's hippodrome, which hosted the Equestrian World Cup stage - "The Kazakh President's Cup," the Presidential press service said.
The Head of State gave the official start to the equestrian tournament of a high international level. The competitions were held in the classic disciplines: overcoming obstacles and distance running.
Sportsmen from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova and India participated in the event.
Holding such international events gives a powerful impetus to the development of equestrian sport in Kazakhstan. Thanks to these tournaments, our country has become one of the centers of the world of equestrian sports.
