Nazarbayev, Garibashvili eye deeper cooperation between Kazakhstan, Georgia

During the meeting, the sides discussed current state and prospects of bilateral cooperation in commercial and economic, investment and energy spheres. President Nazarbayev noted that ‘relations between the two nations are traditionally developing in the spirit of mutually beneficial partnership.' "Kazakhstan and Georgia have always enjoyed good relations. Throughout the years of independence our bilateral ties have developed dynamically. We are keen to further cement out cooperation with Georgia in all spheres," the Head of State stressed. The Georgian Prime Minister, in turn, noted that he had come to Kazakhstan to deepen and expand interaction between the two countries. "This is my first official visit to Kazakhstan in the capacity of Georgia's Prime Minister. Kazakhstan is our friend. We have always had special relations with Kazakhstan and its people. I hope that our economic, political and commercial relations will deepen in the future," Irakli Garibashvili said.
