Nazarbayev demonstrated his farsightedness - German political expert

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Germany supports the decision of President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to hold early presidential elections, says Prof. Dr. Eberhard Sandschneider, the Director of Otto Wolff Research Institute.
According to him, German businessmen believe that it will help Kazakhstan focus on the implementation of the state programs for the benefit of the nation. Dr. Sandschneider is confident that the snap presidential elections that will be held on April 26 will be transparent and in accordance with democratic norms. "In my opinion, the decision to hold presidential elections in Kazakhstan this year was dictated by time. As a wise politician, Nursultan Nazarbayev has once again demonstrated his farsightedness. The elections in April will help preserve stability inside the country," he noted.
