Nazarbayev arrives in Karaganda region

KARAGANDA. May 3. KAZINFORM /Valentina Yelizarova/ President - Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Nursultan Nazarbayev has arrived in Karaganda oblast.

Karaganda oblast governor Serik Akhmetov welcomed the Head of State in the airport. N.Nazarbayev is accompanied by Minister of Defense Adilbek Dzhaksybekov, Head of the President's Administration Aslan Mussin and Advisor to the President Bakhyt Sultanov.

The Head of State will visit military unit 50185. The Supreme Commander-in-Chief will get familiarized with aviation equipment and an engineering laboratory. He will also get acquainted with routine maintenance of MIG-31 aircraft . An integrated training complex of the same aircraft will be demonstrated to the Head of State. Then N.Nazarbayev will survey Spassk training center, where he will be familiarized with training of a mobilization reserve of the Kazakh army.

Today Nursultan Nazarbayev will visit a number of facilities of the Ministry of Defense, tomorrow the Head of State is expected to survey social and industrial facilities. It is expected that the President will participate in an opening ceremony of a new building of the regional Blood Center.
