Nazarbayev and Scaroni debated Kashagan and Karachaganak deposits development issues

ASTANA. October 2. KAZINFORM Today President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has received Chief Executive Officer of Eni Company Paolo Scaroni, the President's press service reports.
The sides discussed oil and gas cooperation issues, in particular, development of Kashagan and Karachaganak fields.
Paolo Scaroni informed Nursultan Nazarbayev of realization progress of the agreement on cooperation and mutual understanding in investments into industrial infrastructure facilities of Kazakhstan signed by KazMunaiGas and Eni Company in 2009. The President got acquainted with the joint projects on the construction of a shipyard on the Caspian Sea and a gas turbine station in West Kazakhstan.
