ALMATY. March 22. KAZINFORM /Yelena Ilyinskaya/ Celebration of the Nauryz meiramy is becoming one of the cornerstones of stability in the society. Almaty Mayor Akhmetzhan Yessimov has announced it at the opening of the main festive event at the Astana square.
He visited outdoor festivities, congratulated the guests and residents of the city on the holiday of the vernal equinox and wished peace, prosperity, happiness and welfare to every house. "Nauryz is a holiday of unity. It is equally dear to all people who live in Kazakhstan", the Mayor noted.
The cultural events dedicated to Nauryz meiramy were held in all districts of the city. But the main festive event were carried out at the Astana square.
