National human rights organizations - indicator of human rights and freedoms, Kazakh Ambassador

VIENNA. April 18. KAZINFORM /Timur Bekturganov/ "Kazakhstan always contributes and encourages the work of the national human rights organizations that become an unique indicator and let the society better perceive international standards in the area of human rights and freedoms, promote their incorporation to the national legislation," Madina Dzharbussynova, Kazakh Ambassador-at-large, told taking the floor at the OSCE Forum held on April 14-16.

An international workshop themed "National human rights institutions and governments" was organized by the OSCE Lithuanian chairmanship jointly with the OSCE/BDIHR within the Organization's additional session on humanitarian dimension.

Those attending focused on improvement of cooperation between state agencies, ombudsmen's institutions and independent human rights structures.
