National campaign timed to 65th anniversary of victory in Great Patriotic War starts in Almaty

ALMATY. January 12. KAZINFORM /Kadyrzhan Smagulov/ "Ardagerlerdi Ardaktayuk" National Campaign has been started in Almaty under the aegis of Nur Otan Party within the preparation to the 65th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. The campaign is scheduled for the first half-year of 2010.
In the course of the campaign representatives of Nur Otan Party and 'Zhas Otan' Youth Wing will visit the war veterans and front workers to present commemorative souvenirs. The peculiar attention will be paid to the solution of their welfare issues.
The campaign participants will also inspect monuments sacred to the memory of soldiers of the Great Patriotic War. They will hold a technical audit for socially important historical sites requiring reconstruction and improvement of adjacent territories.
The regional affiliates of Nur Otan Party will hold meetings with war veterans within the campaign as well.
