National Bank to increase affiliated gold purchase up to 70 tons a year

ASTANA. June 13. KAZINFORM "National Bank of Kazakhstan plans to increase affiliated gold purchase up to 70 million tons a year," Deputy Chairman of Kazakh National Bank Bissengaly Tadzhiyakov told a plenary meeting in the Parliament.
"According to the Kazakh President's decree we began purchasing affiliated gold in July last year, including 5.4 tons for the 2011. The National Bank has entered into agreements with JSC "Kazzinc" and "Kazakhmys" for the purchase of more than 24 tons of affiliated gold," B. Tadzhiyakov added.
