National Bank leader takes part in 5th meeting of Advisory Council in Minsk

ASTANA. August 28. KAZINFORM - Chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Grigory Marchenko has taken part in the 5th meeting of the Advisory Council on the monetary policy of the central (national) banks of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, which was held in Minsk (Belarus), informs the department of organizational work, external and public relations of the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

During the meeting the chairman of the National Bank of Belarus Mrs. Ermakova, chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan Mr. Marchenko and chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Mrs. Nabiullina exchanged information on the current economic situation and implementation of monetary policy in the Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation in the 1st half of 2013.

At the event the sides discussed issues of further approaches to development, operation and management of an integrated financial market, and prospects for creating a supranational authority to regulate the financial market of the Customs Union and the Common Economic Space.

The next meeting of the Advisory Board on monetary policy will take place in November 2013 in Almaty.
