Names of AIBA Pro Boxing first champions announced

ALMATY. KAZINFORM - First final matches of AIBA Pro boxing 1st season have taken place, the press service of the Kazakhstan Boxing Federation reports.
According to the statement, the first champion of the project was the German Eric Pfeiffer. He won in Baku in the fight against Ardzhoi Mohammed from Morocco in the weight category +91 kg. In Istanbul, Turk Adem Kilic defeated Russian Artem Chebotarev (75 kg). And finally, another Turk Onur Sipal beat Kenyan Raton Oquirrh (69 kg). Recall that on January 30 Astana will host the final match of AIBA Pro boxing 1st season in the weight category up to 60 kg. Berik Abdrakhmanov (Kazakhstan) and Khurshid Tojiboyev (Uzbekistan) bout will define the future participant of 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
