"He removed his clothing during the flight and refused to put them back on," the Los Angeles Times quoted FBI spokesman Darrin Jones as saying.

The passenger, who was identified as Keith Anthony Wright, 50, from New York, was charged with interference with a flight and is currently being held at an FBI detention center.

Wright claimed he suffered from depression and could not remember anything about the flight.

"He had some alcohol at the origin airport and was on medication but didn't take it and perhaps a combination of not taking medication and perhaps the alcohol and the altitude have impacted his usual behavior," CBS quoted the Albuquerque airport police chief as saying; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
