Nagoya unveils athlete dining menu for 2026 Asian Games
The organizing committee of the upcoming 2026 Asian Games and Asian Para Games has presented to the press the menu for the athletes’ dining hall, featuring local delicacies and diverse dietary options, JIJI Press reports.
A total of 35 dishes will be offered at the Port of Nagoya Garden Pier athletes’ village, including halal and vegan meals designed to support athletes’ physical condition and recovery.
The menu combines Japanese and international cuisine, with Nagoya specialties such as kishimen flat noodles and tebasaki chicken wings.
“The dining hall is a place to relax,” said Ayumi Tanimoto, an official in charge of athletes’ affairs. “I hope athletes will enjoy dining and taking a break.”
Earlier, it was reported that Hiroshima hosted a flame-lighting event for the torch relay for the upcoming 2026 Asian Games.
