N. Nazarbayev visited 'Nobel' Almaty Pharmaceutical Factory

The Head of State surveyed the factory and met with its personnel.
As it was noted in the President's Address to the Nation last year, the main goal set for pharmaceutical manufacturers of our country was to ensure increase in production of pharmaceuticals in our country up to 50 percent by 2014.
'Presently, we have about 80 percent of pharmaceuticals imported to our country but we plan to produce more of our own products in Kazakhstan', N. Nazarbayev noted.
JSC Nobel Almaty Pharmaceutical Factory produces more than 70 types of medicines of different therapeutic groups. Around 40 percent of production is financed by the state. The budgetary funding is increased by 20-30 percent every year. The list of medications provided within free medical care was expanded in 2010.
