N. Nazarbayev told about construction plans for Astana

ASTANA. September 3. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ President Nursultan Nazarbayev told about new facilities that were planned to be constructed in Astana within his visit to the complex Emerald Quarter on Friday.
'Schoolchildren's Palace will be constructed in the capital. New University for 5 thousand students is to be built next to the University of Arts. On the right side of the Palace of Independence the Kazakhstan History Museum is planned to be constructed. New Opera and Ballet Theatre will be located behind the KazMunaiGaz building', N. Nazarbayev said.
Previously, the Head of the State said that on the Water-Green Boulevard new media center would be erected where all major TV companies would be located. 'It is going to be a new media complex equipped with modern techniques where it will be possible to make movies and hold social events', the President noted.
