N. Nazarbayev says Kazakhstan will carry out fundamental industrial modernization in years to come

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "In years to come fundamental industrial modernization will be carried out in Kazakhstan. Tens of thousand working places will be created," the message of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev to the participants of the II international mining and metallurgical congress says. Premier Massimov read the address.
"The II congress is taking pace the year when Kazakhstan marks the 20th anniversary of its independence. Over the 20 years the metallurgical industry has been one of the key sectors of Kazakhstan's economy showing the high development tempo. Presently, above 7% of GDP falls on the metallurgical industry," the message reads.
