N.Nazarbayev receives Eni CEO Paolo Scaroni

P. Skaroni informed the President of the current activity and plans of the company in Kazakhstan. In the course of the meeting there was noted that Eni is one of the largest investors in the oil and gas sphere of Kazakhstan.

«We considered some working positions which touch upon Karachaganak and Kashagan projects as well as provisions of the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding signed in Rome in November, 2009 in the presence of Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev and Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi. This document opens new horizons for cooperation between Eni SpA and Kazakhstan, first of all, in gas projects, oil processing and other spheres of the oil and gas field», - Paolo Scaroni said to journalists at the briefing.
