N. Nazarbayev proposes to develop Almaty as regional financial center

ASTANA. June 28. KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed to develop Almaty as a regional financial center using Islamic financing.
'I propose to hold the international conference on Islamic banking and develop Almaty as a regional financial center using Islamic financing,' N. Nazarbayev said at the 38th session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Astana.
