N. Nazarbayev awarded workers of culture and art with presidential and state scholarships

In whole, one hundred workers of culture and art were awarded scholarships for the contribution to national culture development. Such outstanding figures as Roza Baglanova, Yermek Serkebayev, Bibigul Tulegenova, etc are among the awardees. Besides, the state support was rendered to young talents as well.

President Nursultan Nazarbayev congratulated the scholarship holders and expressed appreciation for their contribution to Kazakh cultural development.

Issues of the national culture development as well as the role of the state and creative intelligentsia in improvement of spiritual and cultural potential of the nation were discussed at the meeting. The participants expressed gratitude to the President for his attention to the problems of culture and support of the workers of culture and art.
