N. Nazarbayev and V. Putin discussed issues of cooperation within EEU

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Head of State N. Nazarbayev had a telephone conversation with President of Russia V. Putin, the press service of the President of Kazakhstan informs.

The Presidents discussed the relevant issues of bilateral cooperation and interaction within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union.

V. Putin informed the Kazakh President about the results of the talks with the Leaders of Germany and France on February 6 in Moscow and about the telephone conversation in the Norman format that was held on February 8.

N. Nazarbayev expressed his confidence that the four-party negotiations in Minsk, scheduled for February 11, will allow to strike a compromise regarding settlement of a conflict in Ukraine.

Besides, taking into account the temporary difficulties in the Russian economy, the Presidents discussed the issues of mutual trade. The governments of both countries received instructions on development of specific recommendations and measures in this sphere.
