N.Nazarbayev and A.Gul visited State Historical and Cultural Reserve Museum “Azret Sultan”

The basis of the complex is the Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi - unique monument of the medieval architecture and the place of pilgrimage of Muslims from all over the world. The Mausoleum of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi is one of the first historic monuments included into the list of the World Heritage List (June, 2003). Today the Reserve Museum "Azret Sultan" includes 137 historic and cultural, religious, archeological and architectural monuments.

The history of the Kazakh people is popularized here, people worship great Khans, and brave heroes who defended them. The spiritual heritage and studies of Khoja Ahmed Yasawi that educates and calls people for faith, humanity and honesty are promoted here as well", director of the Museum Maulen Sadykbekov said.
