N Kazakhstan to implement six industrial-innovative projects in H1, 2010

PETROPAVLOVSK. June 3. KAZINFORM /Sergey Kuznetsov/ Six industrial-innovative projects are to be realized in the first half of 2010 in the North Kazakhstan oblast which will positively affect the social and economic situation in the region.

These projects are being implemented within the state program of industrial-innovative development. In total, the region plans to launch 13 projects this year, while six of them are expected to be put into service by July 1, the other ones - by autumn.

Thus, in the nearest time ZIKSTO JSC will manufacture new type of products, namely, open goods wagon (or hoppers) for grain transportation. In compliance with the plan, two projects are under implementation at present in Akzhar district. These are a plant on production of cubic-shaped crushed stone and a project on construction of an enrichment plant. Work on development of titanium-zirconium deposit by Tioline Company goes on schedule. There are some problems in realization of the project on commissioning Basko meat-processing plant, but authorities say the project will be completed by June 25.

Two plants included into the state program are under construction now. Besides, two more long-term projects are being realized at present.

Implementation of first six projects will allow creating 944 jobs. 1, 734 people will be provided with jobs in the course of their exploitation.
