N Kazakhstan: Sergeevskoye reservoir water level increased
Water discharge amounted to 676 cubic meters per second (58.41 million cubic meters per day). The design capacity of the reservoir is 693 million cubic meters. Ishim River floodplain water level increased as well. According to gauging stations within the last 24 hours water level near the village of Pokrovka increased by 199 centimeters and near the village called Novonikolskoye by 84 centimeters. Flooding of settlements has been recorded. Since the beginning of the flood period 97 cases of residential houses flooding have been registered in the North Kazakhstan region. 37 cases of flooding were eliminated by "Fire service and rescue" and "Water-rescue service" state agencies of the Emergency Department. 60 cases of homes flooding had been eliminated by the local executive bodies and utilities.
