N Kazakhstan seeking to increase meat exports up to 900 tons

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM "The North Kazakhstan region boasts increases in livestock population and animal products overall production," head of the region Yerik Sultanov told in an interview.

"The region will continue its activities aimed at developing cattle nucleus, building feedyards, and supplying cattle population to farm enterprises." "Meat and meat products exports gather pace. The region plans to export up to 900 tons of meat," he added.
"Though, the region faces a problem of low-farm-wages. The average salary since the beginning of the year has reached just KZT 52,287 that is less than the region's average by 29%," he resumed.
