N Kazakhstan, Republic of Korea establish cooperation ties

Head of the region Yerik Sultanov has met with the Ambassador Baek Chuhen and discussed issues of mutual cooperation. Yerik Sultanov told the guests about the achievements and possibilities of the Northern Kazakhstan. Mayor of the region noted that the area produces railway products for energy, oil and gas industries. At the present time, trade turnover between North Kazakhstan and South Korea is rather small. However, both parties believe that cooperation between the states will be more rewarding. It is worth noting that beginning from November 29 the two states introduce visa-free regime. "I believe that there is great potential and opportunities to strengthen and expand business. There is a trend of rapid development of tourism. Kazakhstani people often travel to Korea. We are ready to collaborate with partners from Kazakhstan," said the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Kazakhstan Baek Chuhen.
