N Kazakhstan region bans fishing in Yesil and Seleta Rivers

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - From April 15 to May 20, fishing in the rivers of Yesil and Seleta has been banned.
Restrictions and prohibitions have been imposed for conservation of fish populations in the area. The minimum fine for violation is 3 monthly calculation indexes (MCI), said the chief specialist of the regional fish inspection by Nicholay Troshikhin. Fishing gears made from polyamide monofilament and synthetic fiber was banned as well. Since the beginning of the current year, more than 30 poachers have been apprehended in North Kazakhstan region.
