Mutual trade b/w Kazakhstan and EEU states down by 20.9% in Q1 2015

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The mutual trade of Kazakhstan with the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union in January-March 2015 was at $3.430 billion, which is 20.9% less than in January-March 2014, the Statistics Committee under the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said.
Exports to the EAEC in the first quarter of this year amounted to $901.6 million (down by 31.1%), imports - $2.529 billion (down by 16.5%). Kazakhstan export structure mainly included mineral products (49.4% of total exports to the EAEC), chemical products (20%), metals and metal products (18.9%), products of animal and vegetable origin and foodstuffs (3.9%). Countries of the EAEC mostly imported machinery and equipment (32% of the total imports from the EAEC), mineral products (17.7%), metals and metal products (13.4%), chemical products (12.7%), products of animal and vegetable origin and foodstuffs (12.5%).
