ASTANA. July 5. KAZINFORM - This year the holy Muslim month of Ramadan begins on July 9. The duration of the month is 30 days, that is from July 9 to August 8. This has been announced in a speech at today's Astana press conference by the chief imam of Astana and the mosque of Astana - "Nur Astana" - Kalizhan Zankoev.
"ORAZA (Ramadan) one can start with a meal at ten minutes before the morning call to prayer on July 9 this year. Aug. 8 begins the Muslim-liked holiday called Oraza Ait, at 6:30 a.m. in the capital's mosques there will be a festive Ait prayer "said K.Zankoev.
"This year the size of the donation (пітір садақа) is 150 tenge, this amount is established throughout the country, we have calculated it from the average price for flour" added K.Zankoev.
