Music of Great Steppe int'l festival to promulgate Kazakh traditional music

ASTANA. July 24. KAZINFORM Kazakh Culture and Information Ministry initiates Music of Great Steppe international festival of traditional performing art within the Year "Astana- cultural capital of the Turkic world".
It is purposed to promulgate traditional music of the Kazakhs who made great contribution to the development of the culture of the world civilization, preservation and development of all genres of the Kazakh national traditional music, especially, genres with the use of rare instruments, to create conditions to share practice, to render active government support to development of traditional music and folk art.
