Murat Nurtleu retains his post as Vice Premier and Kazakh FM

Murat Nurtleu is reappointed as the Vice Premier and Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan, Kazinform News Agency cites the Akorda press service.

Born on March 11, 1976, in Almaty is a graduate of the Al Farabi Kazakh National University.

He started his career in 1998 at the Kazakh Foreign Ministry.

In 2007 took the post of the head of the secretariat of the Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.

In 2011 served as an ambassador-at-large of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, and headed the Asia and Africa Department.

Between 2016 and 2019 served as Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Finland, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Estonia concurrently.

In 2022 took the post of the 1st deputy chairman of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan.

In 2022 he was appointed as the head of the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan.

On April 3, 2023, was nominated as the Vice Premier – Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan.
