Multiparty Parliament creation in Kazakhstan to be big positive step - Joao Soares

ASTANA. January 13. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ Creation of a multiparty Parliament will be a big positive step. Head of the observation mission of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Joao Soares has made it public at a meeting with Senate Chairman Kairat Mami.
"I hope that we will hear good statement next Monday. We are very pleased that your authorities have provided an opportunity for members of our delegation to go to the crisis region - Zhanaozen. A very positive step is that more than one party will be in the lower house of the Parliament of Kazakhstan. This is really a very big positive step forward, and I hope it will be a real multiparty Parliament," Joao Soares said.
