Most regions of Kazakhstan to brace for snowstorms, ice-slick and fog

Storm alert was issued for 17 regions of Kazakhstan for January 2, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.
Astana is set to brace for snowstorms, ice-slick, high wind gusting locally 25 m/s.
Fog is forecast to blanket Shymkent, Atyrau, Zhambyl, Mangistau, and Turkistan regions.
High wind, snowstorms and ice-slick are also expected in Abai, Akmola, Karaganda, Kostanay, Pavlodar, and Ulytau regions.
Snowstorms are to sweep through Aktobe region.
Heavy snowfall, snowstorms, ice-slick and high wind are forecast for East Kazakhstan.
Wild wind gusting 15-20, 25 m/s is to roll through Zhetysu region.
Ground blizzards and ice-slick are to batter today West Kazakhstan.
Snow, snowstorms and high wind are predicted to grip North Kazakhstan.
