Moscow mayor asks business to report corruption

MOSCOW. December 6. KAZINFORM Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin asked the business community on Monday to report any problems related to "the unscrupulousness of Moscow city government officials", Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
"We must understand what is going on, and know the specific problems that worry the business sector," he said.
Sobyanin said there is nothing wrong with the proposed practice, adding the city authorities will check up on the reports before taking any action.
There will not be "indiscriminate dismissals," Sobyanin said.
Sobyanin was appointed mayor this autumn after the dismissal of the long-serving Yury Luzhkov, who had been accused of corruption by state media, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
