Moscow hosts Supreme Eurasian Economic Council's meeting
The meeting is attended by the presidents of Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus, Nursultan Nazarbayev, Vladimir Putuin and Alexander Lukashenko, respectively.
The parties will talk over the progress of drafting a Treaty on Eurasian Economic Union and approve the 2014 budget of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
Further on, the parties will be joined by their Armenian and Kyrgyz counterparts, Serzh Sargsyan and Almazbek Atambayev, respectively and Ukrainian PM Mykola Azarov. Together they will consider the passing of authority to control the observance of common competition rules on trans-border markets in the member states of the Customs Union and Single Economic Space to the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The parties are planned to discuss the alteration of the list of EEC sensitive goods and the outcome of implementation of Agreement on uniform principles and rules of regulation of natural monopoly entities.
The presidents are to talk over a report tallying up the performance of a phased plan for the creation of Single Economic Space with regard to natural monopolies as well as steps to regulate natural monopoly entities that are subject to convergence and outline the sequence of implementation of measures aimed at harmonization of relevant legal frameworks.
