Moscow businessman robbed of $800,000 in plain sight

MOSCOW. January 15. KAZINFORM. A group of four unidentified assailants has robbed a businessman of about $804,000 in various currencies when he stopped his car at a traffic light on a street in southern Moscow, a police source said; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

According to the source, the attackers blocked the victim's car with their BMW sedan, broke a side window, shot the man in the shoulder and took a bag containing $200,000, about 185,000 euro and 10 million rubles.
The incident, which occurred on Thursday night, was witnessed by the victim's family members who were in the car at the time of the robbery.
The businessman said he and his family were on the way home from a bank where they received cash from a sale of an apartment.
Investigators suspect that the assailants knew about the deal and planned the attack in advance; Kazinform cites RIA Noosti.
