Morning voter turnout exceeded 20% in nine regions - CEC Deputy Chairman

ASTANA. April 3. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ Voter turnout in the Kazakhstan presidential elections is high; in the morning it exceeded 20% in nine regions, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission Vladimir Foos said at the first briefing on voter turnout on April 3.
According to him, the turnout in the regions is as follows: Akmola oblast -23.4%; Aktobe oblast - 16%; Almaty oblast - 25,2%; Atyrau oblast - 11%; East Kazakhstan oblast - 27,2%; Zhambyl oblast - 21,6%; West Kazakhstan oblast - 12%; Karaganda oblast - 20%; Kyzylorda oblast - 21,8%; Kostanay oblast - 24,8%; Mangystau oblast - 16,8%; Pavlodar oblast - 20,3%; North Kazakhstan oblast - 26,5% and South Kazakhstan oblast - 11,3%; Astana - 9,1%, Almaty - 5,2%.
