More than 40 thousand jobs to be created in South Kazakhstan region this year

SHYMKENT. KAZINFORM - Head of the regional department for coordination of employment of the population and social programs Asiya Temirbayeva reported on four months of work during the briefing.
She informed 53% of all the people who applied to the employment center for a job were employed. The unemployment level was reduced to 20% in the region. It was possible thanks to the Employment Road Map-2020.
"KZT 2.1 bln tenge was allocated for implementation of the first direction of the program - improvement of rural infrastructure. 822 temporary jobs were created. 60 people will be able to take loans within the second direction totaling 132.7 mln tenge and create about 170 new jobs. 9157 people have been employed within the third direction of the program," A. Temirbayeva said.
She also informed that more than 40 thousand jobs would be created in the region as a result of implementation of 949 projects.
