More than 300 thousand Kazakhstanis used services of Hospitalization Bureau in Jan-Apr 2013

ASTANA. May 30. KAZINFORM In Kazakhstan, for four months of this year, the services of the portal "Hospitalization Bureau" were used by more than 318,000 people, which is 11 thousand more than in the same period last year, according to the press service of the National Center for Health Development, the Kazakh Prime Minister's website reported.

The dynamics of the growth in the number of hospitalized compared to the same period last year was 2.2%.

A high proportion of hospital admissions of more than 96% has been seen in Kostanai and Zhambyl regions.

It should be noted that on the basis the right to free choice of medical organization 271,020 patients, of which the share of the villagers was 45%, were admitted to hospitals for four months in Kazakhstan.

91.7% of patients chose clinics in their own regions, 2.3% left for a planned admission to hospitals in other regions, and 6% selected research institutes, national centers and republican clinics.

As part of the Unified National Health System the portal "Hospitalization Bureau" now provides a centralized communication between hospital, clinic and patient.
