More than 1000 kg of marijuana seized from Shymkent citizen

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - More than 1000 kilograms of undried marijuana has been seized from Shymkent citizen, the press service of the Department of Internal Affairs on transport reports.
June 14 officers of the Anti-Narcotics Department have detained a 39-year-old resident of the city of Shymkent. He was apprehended on Kuragatty-Chimen section. The officers have seized from the man 1 ton 40 kilograms of freshly harvested marijuana. The detainee was put into a detention center. Criminal case has been initiated.
