Monument dedicated to 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate to be erected in Taraz

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Ministry of Culture and Sports and Akimat of Zhambyl region have announced an open Republican contest for the best project of the monument dedicated to the 550th anniversary of the Kazakh Khanate.
The purpose of the contest is to identify the most expressive sculptural and artistic decisions of the monument. According to the organizers of the contest, the criteria for selection of the monument's design include high artistic level, aesthetic expression, ideological richness, artistic integrity and originality. The press service of the Ministry of Culture and Sports said that the monument will be erected in the town of Taraz.
