Monster wind to rage through Kazakhstan on Saturday

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Disturbed weather will bring snow, fog, ice sleet, blizzard and stiff wind to Kazakhstan today. According to Kazhydromet, Kazakhstan's national forecaster, only western, southern and south-eastern parts of the country will enjoy weather without precipitation.
Wind gusting up to 23 meters per second will hit Almaty region. Meteorologists also predict that gusts of wind will reach 25 meters per second in Akmola region as well. Residents of Pavlodar, Karaganda, East Kazakhstan, Kostanay, and North Kazakhstan regions will be tormented by monster wind, ice sleet, blizzard and fog. Bleak wind and ice slick are expected in Aktobe, Kyzylorda and Mangystau regions. Zhambyl, South Kazakhstan and Atyrau regions will be steeped in fog.
