Monster fish makes a comeback to Irtysh River

ASTANA. July 22. KAZINFORM A mysterious monster fish made a comeback to the Irtysh River seven years later after it was seen for the first time there. So, you'd better think twice before entering the waters of the river, Vremya newspaper says.
According to the newspaper, the first time this giant was witnessed in 2005 when a fisherman took a dive in the Irtysh River and noticed a huge fish at least five meters long. He was shock as the river monster opened its jaws and attacked him. Later former head of Emergencies Department of Semei Kazhibek Issbayev swore that it was true. Divers saw a giant fish, they supposed it was a taimen or a catfish. Attempts were made to catch the monster, however, it disappeared.
Sever years later a female resident of Semei decided to swim in the Irtysh River with her children and noticed a monstrously big fish in the water. Rep of Semei rescue service Tassbolat Koshimbayev warns citizens to be careful in the water, the fish may be rapacious.
