Moldova praises Kazakhstan's policy of peace and accord - Ambassador Galbur
The meeting held at the Palace of Peace and Accord in Astana was attended by another deputy chairman of the People's Assembly - senator Anatoly Bashmakov. Mr. Tugzhanov told Ambassador Galbur about the history, creation, constitutional status, goals and work of the People's Assembly aimed at strengthening inter-ethnic tolerance and accord in Kazakhstan. Utmost attention was paid to international cooperation of the Assembly with its partners across the world. Presentation of the Kazakhstani model of inter-ethnic tolerance and public consent was made during the meeting. Mr. Tugzhanov also noted that 2015 had been announced the Year of the People's Assembly in Kazakhstan and invited the Moldavian diplomat to partake in the 22nd jubilee session of the People's Assembly. Ambassador Galbur, in turn, said that ‘Moldova commends Kazakhstan's policy of peace and accord'. He also added the two countries should cement their bilateral cooperation.
