Modernization of system of book keeping and financial accounting of state institutions discussed in Astana

ASTANA. June 27. KAZINFORM /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A workshop on "Modernization of the system of book keeping and financial accounting of state institutions" was held in Astana with participation of Kazakh Finance Minister Bolat Zhamishev.
"The task on transfer to the world standards of the financial accounting of all state institutions was set. It must be realized in tight schedule", B.Zhamishev said.
The representatives of project "Economic Reforms to Enhance Competitiveness" (EREC) of the USAID took part in the workshop as well. They presented the world experience in adapting the international standards on the method of accruals.
