Modern world processes demand development of single security system at Eurasian continent - D.Nazarbayeva

KAZINFORM /Narymbek Ismagulov/ The modern world processes in the economy, policy and military sphere are giving evidence of necessity of development of a single security system not only in the regional aspect, but at the Eurasian continent in the whole. Director of the Fund of the First President of Kazakhstan Dariga Nazarbayeva has said it at the international conference "Architecture of the international security in XXI century: new concepts of Eurasia" in Moscow.

The participants discussed the current problems of the international security, including initiative on nuclear weapons non-proliferation and contribution of First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev to the process of nuclear weapons non-proliferation. The prospects of the Kazakh-Russian relations were touched upon.

"The modern world processes in the economy, policy and military sphere demonstrate necessity of development of a single security system not only in the regional aspect, but at the Eurasian continent in the whole", D.Nazarbayeva noted.

"Today we want to note that idea of such integration was initiated by our President. During 16 years its development is embodied in activities of a number of integration alliances like the CICA, CSTO and SCO", the Director of the Fund added.

Leading Kazakh and Russian experts in the field of international relations and global security problems, heads of the Russian research establishments and representatives of the state bodies of the two countries took part in the event.
