Minsk subway blast toll rises to 14
"Today, Viktor Daineko, 31, died in an emergency medicine hospital," an official at the republic's Health Care Ministry told Itar-Tass.
As of now, 92 subway blast victims are undergoing treatment in Minsk hospitals.
Twelve people were killed outright in the April 11 explosion at the Oktyabrskaya subway station, and some 200 people were injured, including three Russian citizens.
Meanwhile, Belarussian Interior Minister Anatoly Kuleshov said he had no doubts that the persons detained on suspicion of staging the blast were involved in the crime.
"As the interior minister, I have no doubts that they are the culprits," Kuleshov said during an on-line conference.
"There is not a single person left who would doubt that they are the ones involved in the Oktyabrskaya subway station blast.
"They made the bomb; at present, police are evaluating the evidence gathered in the course of the investigation into the criminal case.
"The president ordered to ensure a quality, complete and objective probe into the criminal case within the shortest possible time, in order to have the final conclusion by the time of trial," Kuleshov said.
The interior minister believes that the trial of the suspects will be open. Kazinform cites Itar-Tass. See www.itar-tass.com for full version
