Minsk hosts conference on Kazakhstan-Belarus cooperation

KAZINFORM An international science-to-practice conference "The economic policy of Kazakhstan 2050 new strategy and development of the Kazakhstan-Belarus cooperation in the SES" took place at the Minsk House of Friendship on 19 February the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Belarus reports.

Attending the event organized by the Kazakhstani embassy jointly with the Belarusian society of friendship and cultural relations with foreign countries were state officials, MPs, scientists, public figures of Belarus, heads of diplomatic missions.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kazakhstan to Belarus Ergali Bulegenov presented the main provisions of the address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Strategy Kazakhstan 2050: new political course of the established state". In his words, the implementation of this program document which envisages every development area of the country will let Kazakhstan reach its strategic goal, i.e. to make it into the top 30 countries on the globe.

The diplomat also spoke about Nursultan Nazarbayev's foreign political initiatives, with the Eurasian Union idea placed as a priority. The Customs Union and the Single Economic Space open up new horizons for Belarus-Kazakhstan cooperation in the implementation of joint large-scale projects.

The participants of the conference praised Kazakhstan's successes. In their words, the president's address sets forth ambitious goals which the Kazakhstani people are able to achieve.

The House of Friendship played host to a photo exposition of Kazakhstani initiatives.
