Ministry of Healthcare launched measures to prevent acute enteric infection in Kazakhstan

ASTANA. June 3. KAZINFORM Due to outbreak of acute enteric infection in Germany, the Ministry of Healthcare of Kazakhstan has launched measures to prevent spread of the infection in the country.
Thus, the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of the Republic of Kazakhstan decreed to strengthen the measures on prevention of acute enteric infection, toughen sanitary-epidemiological control over the drinking water quality, sale of foods, activation of health education of the population.
In order to prevent the acute enteric infections, the Ministry urges people to use fruit an vegetables after thorough washing only, scald them with boiling water and to maintain stick personal hygiene.
