Ministry of Culture must pay special attention to state language development in 2011 - Premier

ASTANA. January 21. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ The Ministry of Culture should pay special attention to development of the state language in 2011. Prime Minister Karim Massimov has given such instruction at the enlarged session of the board of the Ministry.
"This year we will mark the 20th anniversary of independence and this holiday should be carried out worthily. Besides, Kazakhstan will chair in the Organization of the Islamic Conference and Shanghai Cooperation Organization. In this connection, all cultural events should be conducted at a high level", K.Massimov said.
He noted that 2011 is the first year of implementation of a new state program of development of languages which was adopted last year. In this context, the Ministry of Culture must pay special attention to development of the state language and create conditions for development of other languages.
