Ministers of environmental protection of over 40 countries to discuss mitigation of climate change in Astana

ASTANA. September 15. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ Ministers of environmental protection of over 40 countries will discuss the issues of mitigation of climate change. Kazakh Vice Minister Eldana Sadvakassova has announced it at the press conference on Wednesday.
"The sixth Ministerial Conference on Environment and Development in Asia and the Pacific (MCED-6) will be held in the Palace of Independence in Astana on September 27-October 2. Over 40 ministers will arrive for participation in this conference. The issues of sustainable low-carbon development, adaptation for climate change, mitigation of climate change, creation of green economy and green business will be considered. The issues of energy effectiveness of the projects of renewable energy resources are also on the agenda", Eldana Sadvakassova noted.
